Obituary of Tyler Jean Hallman

Our beloved son, Tyler passed away peacefully as we held him in our arms on Friday, January 19, 2024. Tyler is survived by his parents Dennis and Debbie, and sister, Kelsi Hallman.

We were privileged to have Tyler’s companionship for 28 years after he courageously battled meningitis at a year old. We thank you, Tyler, for the tremendous inner strength, fortitude, and unconditional love, that taking care of you gave us. Your beautiful soul was pure innocence.

Tyler taught us so much without saying a word. Kindness, patience, and perseverance. He gave us the gift of perspective. He reminded us that most of our problems are not really problems, and to be grateful for what we have. We must savor the sweet, beautiful moments we have every day. Life is fragile and someday, all too soon, we must say goodbye.

Tyler fought battles with health and limitations that would crush many of us.

Tyler especially loved his father’s voice, it almost always made him give a happy reply. He loved the music that his sister, Kelsi, would play on the piano and double bass. He loved car and golfcart rides, mashed potatoes, chocolate pudding, yoo-hoos, and his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers – Harry, Chase, Henry, and Quaid. The sound of his dad using the leaf blower always resulted in Tyler’s loud happy noises and giggles.

We will always treasure the time that we had with Tyler. We are especially grateful for his big, beautiful smile that let us see the happiness in his heart. Long live the extraordinary beauty and innocence of Tyler’s simple human heart. Please hold him close as we do, in your mind and spirit.

Thank you to everyone at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, who showered Tyler with love and care, he could feel it. You are all special and made our many times at the hospital easier.
