Obituary of Jane Hunt Grady

Jane Hunt Grady, 64, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 in Columbia, SC. Born to the late Vera Gregory Hunt and J.H. Hunt, she was a graduate of Berea High School, Class of 1975, and was a member of Berea Friendship United Methodist Church in Greenville, SC. Jane is survived by her former husband Dr. John Grady of Charleston and by their daughter Bridget Blaine Grady of Columbia; brothers, James Steven Hunt (Sharon), of Chapin, and Jeffrey Henry Hunt (Reba), of Pauline; nephew, Greg Hunt (Jenna), grandnephew Henry, and grandniece, Charlotte; and niece Mary Allen Hunt Rohman (Dan) grandniece, Eleanor.

Jane lettered in Berea High School basketball, attended Clemson University, and worked in the medical field for a number of years. Jane enjoyed deep sea fishing in her early years and was creative and artistic enjoying lifelong participation in numerous Arts and Crafts. Jane resided in Charleston for 35 years. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Berea Friendship United Methodist Church, 8001 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29617. Receiving of friends will be in the church from 1:00pm until the service starts.

Inurnment will be private.
