From Rhonda Dunning
Cindy - I met your mom when I started working at the Bank of Punta Gorda as it was called then. She was a true friend and we had so many wonderful times with you and Wendy. Our times at Momma Mia’s were many. We ate a lot of Nacho’s. Traveling to your competitions and so many days of going to the beach. After I moved away one of my best memories is when Frank and I came down to visit with your mom. Frank loved NASCAR so your mom and I got on the phone to see if we could get tickets to the race at Darlington. We were so excited that we got seats in like the 4th row. When we told Frank he laughed so hard. Little did we know you don’t want to sit that close at a racetrack. We were cleaning bits of rubber out of our hair for days. When Frank died your mom was one of the first friends I called. We talked about that escapade and laughed so much. Marylou was a beautiful soul. Life threw her some curve balls but she never let it get her down. She loved you more than I could ever put into words. And her grandkids meant the world to her. I am truly blessed to have known her even though we didn’t see each other in these later years. She will remain in my heart always. My love and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.
