Obituary of Carla Joan Lear

Carla Joan Lear, 85, died peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2021 after battling dementia for several years.

Carla was born in New York to Svend and Stella Christoffersen. She was very proud of her Danish and Italian heritage and that her parents came through Ellis Island and became legal citizens of the United States.

Prior to getting sick, Carla worked into her mid 70's. She had many jobs including entrepreneur, real estate, post office, census bureau. She enjoyed working outside and volunteering at her church.

Carla was pre-deceased by her brother, Svend "Chris" Christoffersen. She is survived by her five children, Mark Williams, Lisa Kipley (John), Bryan Williams (Cindy), Jennifer Lamon (Wayne), Christopher Lear (Brandy), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family extends their gratitude to Agape Hospice hospice care, especially "Miss Erica".

A private ceremony will be held.
