Obituary of David. L. Moore

After a full life of laughter and love, David L. Moore left this earth on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 82. David was born on September 18, 1938 in Fremont, Ohio to Ardethe and Robert Moore, who preceded him in death. On August 26, 1961, he married Anne Kelly.

He is survived by wife Anne; children Kelly Gosh, Kathleen Morris and Michael Moore (Jean); seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and sister Lana Cress (Gary).

David was in marketing and sales most of his life. His interests included naval history, cars, aircraft, boating, model building, the Carolina Gamecocks, scotch, dancing and Old Time Rock and Roll.

His quick wit brought laughter to those who knew him. He never met a stranger

A memorial service will be held on Monday May 3, 2021 at 5:00 PM at StoneBridge Gardens, 3506 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210 with Reverend Brandon Newell officiating. Anyone unable to attend in person can join virtually by emailing 233MrMoore@gmail.com. The family will receive friends at StoneBridge Gardens directly following the service until 8:00 PM.
