Obituary of David A. Adams

David A. Adams, 84, of Columbia, SC passed away on April 15, 2021. He was born in Whiteville NC and was a graduate of Whiteville HS and the University of Hawaii. David served our country and retired as a Chief Master Sargent in the USAF and was a Vietnam Veteran. Upon retirement, he was then employed by and retired from the US Forestry Service.

David was preceded in death by his wife of 52 yrs, Elizabeth Adams. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Javis, son, Mark Adams,  daughter-in-law, Carolyn Adams, granddaughters; Cassie Puckett and her husband, Brandon Puckett, Carlee Adams, Cathrine Adams, grandson,Taylor Adams, and great-grandchildren, Lilah and Judah Puckett.

David will be remembered for being a patriot and a family man with a heart of gold.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
