Obituary of Paul Lynam

Paul Lynam passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital on March 15th 2018 in Columbia SC, at the age of 85. Paul is survived by his wife Dorothy Lynam : 3 children from a previous marriage, Paulette Lynam, Bobby Lynam and Sherrie Lynam; 3 step children, Keith Gibson, Mike Gibson and Sara Gail Gibson, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Paul was born in Kentucky on April 27th, 1932 . He met Dorothy later in life and they were happily married for almost 14 years. They regularly attended Shandon Baptist Church and enjoyed many friendships in their Sunday school class. Paul worked for many years in the construction industry and retired from Fluor Daniels. Paul enjoyed spending time outside working in the yard and in his garage. He was extremely handy and loved completing home improvements. His love of bargain hunting and yard sales led to the beautiful restoration of many pieces of furniture. His constant companion was his dog, Brownie who traveled with him wherever he went. A celebration of life is scheduled for March 20th at 11am at the Chapel in Shandon Baptist Church. Dennis Banks will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paul's life.
