To the family of Kathy "Kats" Stewart, I would like to send my condolences to both of her sons and the rest of the family. I worked with Kathy at the Dorn VAMC for many years. She was a type person that spoke her mind but she was also a kind person to have as a co-worker. She had a concern heart. One thing I can say about Kathy is that she did not want to retire. But her sickness forced her to do so and she finally was getting used to being a retired person as she put it. It hurt and saddened my heart to find out that she had transitioned into the heavenly realm. I pray that her family will be comforted and strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray the family will continue to be close and there for each other as the days, months, and years go by in the memory of their mother and grandmother. Mia, she talked about you all the time as well as the others. She was so very proud to have been given another grandbaby to love on just prior to her answering the call from the Lord. She could not wait to see and hold that baby and when she finally did she was bursting with pride and joy. I say to all of you that you should be proud of your mom and grandmom because she certainly was so proud of all of you. May God always hold you close to His bosom. Love each other. Keep your hands in God's hand and He won't let you fall. You mom is truly missed. My sincere condolences. Rose Redden Fee Basis - DORN VAMC Hampton Street
