Obituary of Jane Brown Sloan

Jane Brown Sloan died peacefully in her home on Friday, December 18th, 2020 in Columbia, South Carolina at the age of 76.

Jane is survived by her three children; Harry William Sloan Jr. (Lynn) of Charlotte, NC, James Kell Sloan (Lisa) of West Columbia, and Alisa Sloan Bailey (Darren) of Columbia. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Anderson Sloan, Hampton Bailey, Adair Sloan, Morgan Bailey, Koll Sloan, Chandler Bailey, Jacob Sloan, and Margaret Jane Sloan. 

Jane was born in Bennettsville, SC to Alice Hubbard Brown Willhite. She graduated from Dreher High School in 1962. Jane retired from the South Carolina Budget and Control Board. 

Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, her two cats, working in the yard, cooking, and being an active member and volunteer with her church.

A service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Cayce United Methodist Church, 1600 12th St, Cayce, SC 29033.  The service will also stream via Facebook Live at CayceUMC.com.
