Obituary of Alice Chitwood Gray

Alice Chitwood Gray, 81, of Blythewood, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Alice was born on November 7, 1939, in Brimstone, Tennessee. Alice had 8 siblings; 6 sisters, 1 brother and a twin sister. Alice had a zest for life and especially enjoyed creating memories and spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Woodrow and Alsa Chitwood, her twin sister, Joyce Carpenter and younger sister, Carole and her beloved husband; James Thomas Gray. They were married for 59 years. She is survived by her three children; Lisa Dixon of Blythewood, Keith D. Gray (Kim) of Hampstead NC and James H. (Meg) of Blythwood, 9 grandchildren; Jeffery, Justin, Jessica, Samantha, Keith, Kyle, Korteney, Hunter and Fisher and 9 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, a private service for the family will be held at a later date.
