Obituary of Homer Williamson Davis

Homer Williamson Davis, 76,of Norway, SC passed 21 December 2019 at his home.

Mr Davis was born 18 April 1943 in Salley, SC to E.D. and Sue Williamson.

He graduated from Porter Military Academy, Charleston,SC. He continued his education at Clemson College, Clemson, SC. He served in the Air Force Reserves for 9 years. After retiring from Cummins Engine Company, Charleston,SC in 2005, he moved to Norway, SC.  He was an avid collector of classic and antique cars.  He was an active member of the Palmetto Classic and T-Bird Clubs. 

He is survived by his brother, Rudy Williamson (Ann) of North, SC, nephew,Tobin Williamson (Kimberly) of Lexington, SC, niece, Sheri Weston (Bert) of Aurora, MO, great nieces, Alexendra Weston and Hailey Williamson, great nephews, Corey Weston and Shawn Williamson, and beloved cousin, Donna Trego.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, brother, Goldie Wayne Williamson of Salley and sister, Gloria D. Williamson of Columbia, SC.

Per Homer's wishes no visitation or services.  His ashes will be buried in the family plot at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, Salley, SC.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care especially Josephine, Paula, Genesis and Julie for their compassion, kindness and helpfulness the months prior to Homer's passing.
