Obituary of Jennie Marie Gioffredi Perry

Aiken, SC Jennie Marie Gioffredi Perry passed away on November 12, 2016. Jennie was born March 21, 1939 in Ankeny, IA, to the parents of Maria and Sestilio (Sam) Gioffredi. Before beginning her family, Jennie worked at John Deere in Iowa. She left to follow her husband's career and raise her children. Jennie is survived by her children Linn Perry of Dixon, IL, Brian (Allison) Perry of Hanahan, SC, and Steven (Sadie) Perry of Irmo, SC, and she is survived by her sister Anunziatina (Tina) Battani of Ankney, Ia. Jennie is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew and Alex Perry of Hanahan, SC and Sam Walker and Kate Perry of Irmo, SC along with several nieces and nephews. Jennie was predeceased by her parents and siblings Archemedi (Arkie) and Gualtiero (Cato) Gioffredi. The family would like to thank her very special friends Rick and Dorothy Porter, Robert and Velma Jurrus, Linda Young and Brenda Freeman for their constant companionship throughout the years. They would also like to thank the caring staff of Pruitt Health Aiken and the Aiken Hospital. Jennie's remains will be honored and placed by her parents in Ankeny, IA in the coming spring.
