Obituary of Max Earl Blair

Max Earl Blair (aka Séamus Blær de Maxwell) was beloved by so many and his sudden passing on September 23, 2022, was a shock to all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Steven Noel and Jane (Pottberg) Blair, his sister, Ann Blair Kennedy and her family (Brother-in-law Brian Kennedy and Nibbilings Jax and Blair), and his cats; Pumpkin, Lil Miss, Sam, and Bobby.

There will be a Gathering of Remembrance in Max’s honor on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 1PM to 4PM at Irmo Community Park, 7473 Church St, Irmo, SC 29063. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to either  The Humane Society of South Carolina, St. John's Episcopal Church, or Hendrix College in Max’s name.
