Crystal, Dwayne, and Quinn, and Family,
I knew Jack from birth and loved him, his spirit, his enthusiasm. We shared food, drink and football games. My strongest memory of Jack was when he was quite small. My brother was coming to the house, it was a good time for Dwayne to come over - Crystal was out of town. Dwayne came with young Jack who was a bundle of energy, as I expected he would be. It was a beautiful day and we had but one problem. In the middle of the yard was a good ole South Carolina fire ant nest. I knew that this would not do with curious and rambunctious young Jack. So, I made the choice to put fire ant killer on the nest prior to Jack's visit. This didn't give me much peace, as I was vigilant in watching Jack to make sure he steered clear of the nest, even if the ants were now eliminated. It did give me great joy to see the energy and life of JACK.
At the football games, I recall the Jack's call of "Hey Dad" as he pointed out an observation to Dwayne. I will miss his smile, his energy, and all that he is.
Blessings and God's Peace, With much Affection, Tom Carter
