Obituary of Steven D. Jenkins

Mr. Steven (Steve) D. Jenkins, 64, passed away on December 3, 2023 at the residence of his caregivers and best friends. He was surrounded by his family.

Steve was born on December 6, 1958 in Richland County. He was a master welder and worked for Blanchard Machinery for 38 years.

Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by Robin Jenkins, two daughters; Jessica Sowell (Boyd) and Miranda Justice, two grandchildren; Zachary Jenkins and Kalyanna Bertram, two siblings; Tommy Jenkins and Katherine Porter (Preston), his sister-in-law, Dawn Jenkins and his special friends, Alvin and Roxanne Jeffcoat.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Eva Jenkins and his older brother, David Jenkins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 119 Ballpark Road, Lexington, SC 29072 with Rev. Richard Coleman officiating.
