Obituary of Patricia Beller Fallon

Patricia "Pat" Beller Fallon of Chapin, SC passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Pat was born on January 10, 1944 in Washington DC to the late Robert James Beller and Mary Maulvey Beller. She graduated from Wilson High School and Immaculata Preparatory School, from which she was granted an Associates Degree. During school summer recesses, Pat worked at the Federal Trade Commission, where her father was a staff attorney. Following college graduation, Pat worked at the National Weather Service for a short time before transferring to the National Institutes of Health, where she became the executive secretary to the Deputy Director of the Cancer Institute. She was employed in this capacity for ten years before moving to Columbia, SC.

Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a heart for children. This love led her to being a Sunday school teacher of young children, a calling she fulfilled for over twenty five years. She loved animals and had a heart of gold. She was an avid tennis player. She was strong in her Christian faith and was a shining example of Christian love and devotion. She had a presence about her that could light up a room. She touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed by them all. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-two years, Rick Fallon, son, Robert Oxenburg (Cher), daughters, Terri Cacioppo (Joe) and Jennifer McClure (Kyle), her grandchildren, Ryan McCartha, Jamie Oxenburg, Claire and Kate McClure, Cali Oxenburg, and brothers, Dr. Robert Beller and James Beller. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Mt. Horeb Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington SC, with Rev. Fay Stephens officiating.
