Obituary of Linda Glazier Nall

Linda Glazier Nall died suddenly on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Linda was a spirited soul who lived life her way. Her humor and can-do attitude were contagious, and those who were fortunate enough to know her will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband: Jim; her children: Leonard, Julie, Sara and Jay; her grandchildren: Olivia, Ila, Evelyn, Emmy and Bo; her sister and brother: Deb and James; along with her niece and nephew and many cousins.

Linda was born in Western Massachusetts – a Yankee lady with a Southern heart. She retired from a job in mortgage banking several years back and used her considerable management skills to help keep our family close and strong. She was a great cook, baker and jelly maker; a talented seamstress; and an expert gardener. She enjoyed entertaining and was always looking for an excuse to have a good party. Fripp Island was one of her favorite places and we went there as often as we could. Beach music made her want to dance and she would frequently listen to John Prine or Lyle Lovett. She preferred staying busy and was an active member of several local clubs. She loved her home, her friends and most of all her family. She leaves us with many extraordinary memories of touching and laughter filled moments.

A gathering to celebrate Linda’s life will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Wildewood Club, 90 Mallet Hill Road, Columbia, SC 29223  from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
