Obituary of Brenda Turner Crider Yelton
Our loving mother, grandmother and dear friend earned her angel wings on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Surrounded by her loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy, by living their lives to the fullest. Brenda had the kindest heart and love for all people and animals. She loved the Lord and gospel music.
Brenda was the daughter of the late W. Howard Turner and Elsie Q. Turner. Her late brothers David C. Turner and Morgan Bennett.
Brenda worked hard from the time she was old enough, as a server at some of the best restaurants in Columbia and made many lifetime friends. She found her true calling in life, as a private duty caregiver, she cared for many patients who needed an angel, as their caregiver until their end of life. She made lasting friendships with the many families she assisted.
Brenda was truly a force to be reckoned with. She knew every driving short cut there was, which was great because she liked to be on the go.
