Obituary of Bobby Darlin Mixon

Mr. Bobby Darlin Mixon passed away on July 9, 2023.

Bobby is the father of April Dawn Mixon, Bobby L. (Cathy) Mixon, and Timothy (Pam) Mixon. He is the grandfather of Holly Mixon, Alyssa Lydon, Kimberly Mixon, Sierra Mixon, and two step-grandchildren, Nicholas Vaughn, and Matthew Vaughn. He is the brother of Forest (Marlene) Mixon, Hillard Randolph Mixon, Francine (Fred) Wyncoop, Donnie (Frances) Mixon, and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Mixon.

He is predeceased by his wife, Robbie Catherine Anderson Mixon (deceased in 2014), his parents, Hillard Darlin Mixon and Ruby Mae Cooper Mixon, his granddaughter, Robbie Catherine Mixon, his brothers, Jeryl Mixon, Bennie Mixon, and sisters, Josie Reynolds Shankman, and Betty Chavis. Bobby also has many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a sales representative for Pet Milk for twenty-five years, he was also a sales representative for Flavor Rich for ten years, and he worked for Wagener Milling Company for two years, and he also worked for Tyler Brothers and Garvin Oil Company. He retired at the age of sixty-two. Bobby had a passion for growing flowers, plants and vegetables. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that you plant a garden for yourself in Bobby’s memory.
