Obituary of Kim Susan Gordon-Harrington

Kim Susan Gordon-Harrington, 60, of West Columbia, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 16th, 2023, after weeks of hospice care at home, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on a naval base in Puerto Rico to Henry Jacob Gordon Sr and Vivian Yvonne Carreau Gordon,

both of whom were already awaiting her return to them in Paradise. Kim, also known as "Momma Kim" or "Mem-Mem", lived with cerebral palsy, but did not let it slow her down. She attended Airport Highschool, where she made numerous lifelong friends. She worked for a time as a bookkeeper for her father's business, as well as proudly homeschooling her children from 2002 to 2016. She was a passionate woman of faith, a lover of gardening, scrapbooking, and movies, as well as a very sensitive soul. She is survived by her children, H. Calvin Harrington Jr, and Kathryn Yvonne Wicker (Isaac), granddaughter Elysia Wicker, sister Donna Dawkins, brothers Henry Jacob Gordon Jr and Jason Ward Gordon, great aunt Imogene Strickland, and countless friends and siblings of faith.
