Obituary of Patricia Lynn Cook

Patricia Lynn Cook gained her wings on March 2, 2022 and will be deeply missed. Known as Lynn by family and friends, she was born November 20, 1961 at Fort Jackson Hospital in SC to Clarence Lee Massey and Betty Jean Belk. Lynn married Ralph Heyward Cook, Jr. in 2013.

Lynn leaves behind her husband and two children; Allen (Juliann) Sharpe of Chapin SC and Kristen Sharpe of Columbia SC; six grandchildren; Alison, Jennifer, Hannah, Abigail, Gabriel and Tadeo and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Lynn loved to spend time with her grandchildren and make dolls for family and friends. Lynn has had several different jobs from restaurant work to being a correctional officer at SCDOC to a district relief manager of Waffle House and a store manager for several years at a Bob Brandi store in Irmo, SC. Most recently, before having medical issues, she worked at the Pops gas station on Hwy #1 across from the Barnyard Flea Market.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Trinity Church, 650 Ermine Road, West Columbia, SC 29170
