Obituary of Hoa Thi Le

Hoa Le was a beautiful wife, mother, and friend.  She passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 72.  She was born in Saigon, Vietnam.  After the war, she and her husband fled Vietnam with their children and then settled in Columbia, South Carolina in 1982.  She loved cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She had a big heart to help others at a very young age and up into her last years.  

Hoa is survived by her husband, Tai Tran, of 56 years, one sister, five children, and fourteen grandchildren in the US. She is also survived by her four siblings in Vietnam.

Two Buddhist services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 8-10am and 5-7pm at Thompsons Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209
