Obituary of Robert Lynn Williams

Robert "Bob" Lynn Williams, 72 of Columbia passed away peacefully on May 13, 2018. Born in Bremerton, WA, to the late Llewellyn and Margaret. Bob graduated from West High School in1964. After working in the shipyard in Bremerton, WA, Bob spent over 40 years working in the Nuclear Power Industry at several company's including Chem Nuclear, ENSR, and Invista as a Nuclear Engineer and reached the title of Vice President. Bob retired in 2015 due to health problems. Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Theresa, his three children, Tammera Starnes (Bryan), Michelle Brooks (Todd), and Rodney Williams; brothers, Jay Williams (Margaret); Larry Williams(Kathy) and sister, Donna Benoit(Richard); and grandchildren, Robert, Kathryn (Bryson), Savannah, Abigail, Olivia, Josh, and Mali along with other family and golfing friends. He also leaves behind his dog, Cookie. Bob had a passion for golfing and played every weekend with the same group of guys until he was no longer physically able.
