Obituary of Bertha Ellen (Johnson) Allen

Bertha Allen, 66 passed peacefully on January 5, 2022 at Hospice House of Florence, South Carolina. Bertha was born in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the late Bobby Gene Johnson and Freida J. Holland. 

Bertha was married to James W. Allen for 40 years. Together they traveled in their RV for the last three years enjoying life. Bertha was retired/housewife, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband James, W. Allen, two daughters, Susan Prentice of Florida and Amy Manrique of Oklahoma, three sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Bertha was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Johnson and Willis Childers, both of South Point, Ohio.

There will not be a funeral service but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
