Obituary of Barbara Lee Allen

Barbara Lee Allen was born on October 26, 1945 and passed on November 29, 2021.

The sum of Barbara Lee Allen's life was in the four major roles she played in her 76 years of living: that of a wife, mother, business owner and grandmother. While each role was separate, they were closely intertwined. That was the nature of this woman.

Barbara displayed a mother's heart, right off the bat. She hated to hear any child cry.

From early on, David and Barbara developed a close bond. As an only child, they shared many experiences and challenges, forging a special relationship that would include owning their own business.

For over 25 years, Barbara and David operated Deimond’s Bar and Grill with Barbara holding court for many hours, greeting customers and minding the store. She certainly made a difference in the success of Diemond’s. The loss of energy, and health issues, would prevent Barbara from her key role as the face of the business.

Everyone leaves this planet with a legacy. Some great, some small. Barbara's legacy was an indomitable will. SHe never gave up on anything she felt was important. Including the will to live. But even that will cannot overcome the law of Nature and Barbara passed as we alI must pass.

Barbara was predeceased by parents Joseph and Sara Cole, a sister Gloria "' Cookie," and her husband David Wesley Allen Senior.

She is survived by her son David, his wife Mindy, and three Grandsons. Kody, the oldest, then twins Brody and Cole. Cole was Barbara 's maiden name. She also had a great-granddaughter Olivia Grace Tonsing. Other survivors include many beloved nieces and nephews.
