Obituary of Stephen Paul Channel
His soul is at peace, Stephen Paul Channel unexpectedly left this world to be with the Lord in heaven. Stephen was born October 23, 1955, son of the late Rev. Ronald Channel and Margaret Channel.
He attended Pensacola Bible College, where he studied Business. After college he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a jet engine mechanic. He lead a specialized aircrew to maintain the F4 Phantom jet squadron and achieved the rank of E5, Staff Sergeant. He was honorably discharged and spent several decades working in route sales to provide and prosper.
Stephen was very active in ministries, attending church regularly where he was proudly a door greeter. Left behind includes many beloved family members. 3 children; Stephanie Corl, Christopher and Brittany Channel as well as; 1 brother, 1 sister, 3 grandchildren, 4 nieces, 4 nephews & extended family.
A memorial service is planned for November 20, 2021 at 10 o’clock at MJ Dolly Cooper Veteran Cemetery in Anderson SC. Special thank you to South Carolina Cremation Society.
