Obituary of Victor Lee Sitton

Victor Lee Sitton Sr, age 77, of Blythewood, passed away on July 20, 2021, in his home of natural causes.

Victor was born on February 3, 1944 in Columbia, SC. He had an extensive military career that included 3 tours of Vietnam and ended when he retired as a Master Chief from the US Navy in 1983. Following his military retirement, Victor contracted with both the USN and the National Weather Service on numerous projects that furthered his travels to include 4 trips to Antartica, 6 trips to Alaska, and multiple trips to Greece, Rome, and Spain. He was well known for his generosity and good natured personality; loved and admired by many. 

Victor is survived by his son Victor L. Sitton Jr. (April), daughter Ashlynn Moody (Chris), granddaughter Devon Hansford (Chris), grandson Seth Matteson, great-granddaughter Layla Hansford, and sister Anne Campbell (Rick), along with many nieces and nephews. 

He has been reunited with his wife, Joy Sitton, and youngest son, Edward Daniel Sitton in their eternal rest.
