Obituary of Ronnie Dean Locklear

Ronnie Dean Locklear, born April 3rd, 1956 in Lumberton, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at 65 years of age.

Ronnie resided in Manning SC where he planned to fully retire and was enjoying his days fishing and sitting outside overlooking the water, listening to the songs of the birds. He still spent his weekends on the ball field umpiring which was one of his greatest passions.

He left this world following a cardiac arrest and was well cared for at the Florence Hospice House in South Carolina. The memories of his generous nature and funny storytelling will live on.

Ronnie Locklear is survived by his three children; Ronnie Locklear Jr., Kenneth Locklear & Angela Queen, his father, Dizzy Dean Locklear & siblings; Rose Rodriguez and Terry Locklear.

An intimate family Memorial Service was held shortly after his passing and a Celebration of Life will be held in late August in Rock Hill SC. Please check back on this site after August 15, 2021 for updated details on the Celebration of Life.
