Obituary of William Terry Jones

William Terry Jones, 62, of Newberry, South Carolina passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021, at his home in Newberry, South Carolina, surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 7, 1958 in Union, South Carolina to Sanford “Ray” and the late Doris (Smith) Jones.  Terry was a believer in our Lord, and was a member of the House Of God, Newberry. 

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tammy Franklin Jones, Children; Crystal Wingender and her husband Phil of Shelby NC, Melissa Eichhorn and her husband Mark of Simpsonville, SC, David Jones and his wife Megan of Union SC and Ashley Walker and her husband Chance of Newberry SC, Grandchildren; Kyrstin, Johnathon, Cheianne, Alex, Caleb, Ashton, Cole and Khaleesi.  He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Sybil Smith, Vickie Gregory, Nicky Guy, and her husband Ricky, Deanie Byers, and her husband Willie, Kristi Lawter and Laurie Smith.  Terry also leaves behind Many Nieces Nephews and great nieces and nephews that he truly loved.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Prince and a brother in law, Richard Gregory.

 A memorial service celebrating the life of Terry will be at House of God Newberry, 3288 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108 on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM.

The family has requested that memorials may be made to House of God, Newberry.
