Brenda Susan Grist, 68, passed away October 5, 2020 after a long battle with dementia. Brenda grew up in a military family and for most of her childhood resided in Japan. After her father retired from the US Army, her family settled down in West Columbia, South Carolina. Robin, Ryan, Nikki and Chris would like to send our deepest heartfelt thanks to the staff at Carolina Gardens, West Columbia, Lexington Medical Center and Pruitt Health of Ridgeway. Each doctor, nurse, and caregiver who cared for our mother did so with kindness, dignity, and grace during the three years she was in their care.
