Obituary for Joshua Willace Bienkoski

Joshua Willace Bienkoski, 28, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away September 8, 2020 at his home in West Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on January 17, 1992 in Bennington, Vermont to Stephen   and Pamela (Van Deusen) Bienkoski.  Joshua was a kind and gentle spirit.  He had an extreme love for animals, especially his cat Cleo.  Joshua was generous and protective to a fault.  He had no reservations about sticking up for the underdog or assisting whomever needed his help at any capacity.  Joshua enjoyed many events in his life.  He was an avid skateboarder, soccer player and hunting for shark teeth at the beach.  Joshua most loved his family and enjoyed a special bond with his sister Sarah, (knows as peas in the pod), the times that they spent together were precious to him.  He will be missed by those he loved and those that loved him.

Joshua is also survived by his sister; Sarah E Bienkoski, Grandfather, Wallace Van Deusen.  He also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins to treasure his memory.

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Elizabeth (Holmes) Van Deusen, and his paternal Grandparents, William and Helen Benkoski.

Funeral services are incomplete at this time, and will be announced by the family

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to those that mentored and guided him through his difficult journey, Candy and Fred Welch.  The care they provided for him and caring that they expressed cannot be appreciated enough.
