Obituary of Eric Beirne Ellison

Eric Beirne Ellison, 46, of Chapin passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born in Newport News, Virginia on January 4, 1974.

Eric lived in Chapin, South Carolina and graduated from Chapin High School in 1994. He was a well-respected lineman for 18 years working for Mid-Carolina Electric Co-Op.

Eric was loved by so many and was known for his hard work, wonderful smile, kind heart, and his amazing sense of humor. Eric loved catching up with old friends and could make new friends anywhere he went. Alongside his love for spending time with his family and dearest friends, he enjoyed the lake, riding motorcycles, and going on family vacations. He had a strong love for the Lord and shined that light on many others. He was an amazing father, son, uncle and friend. Let his light keep shining though on this earth by cherishing and sharing your most loving memories of him. Rest peacefully – we will see you again one day.

Eric is survived by his loving children: son, Austin Beirne Ellison, daughter, Eden Lynn Ellison, mother, Drema Mishaw, sister, Elaine Stimson, two nephews, Zachary Stimson, Luke Stimson, niece, Erika Stimson and many other loving relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Beirne Ellison, and his stepfather, Raymond Mishaw.

A drop-in memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm at The Old Oak Barn, 1155 Holy Trinity Church Road, Little Mountain, South Carolina 29075. This service is open to family and friends who want to come and express their condolences. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity.
