Obituary for John Mitchell Benton

John (Mike) Mitchell Benton, 66, of North, South Carolina  passed away July 16, 2020.  He was born on May 12, 1954 in Southport,  North Carolina to Wilma Jo Thompson and Henry Ellis Benton.  Stepfather, Sham C. Coker (papa)

(Mike) John is survived by;  Two sisters, Debbie Delk, (Scott), Martha Pratt, (Jeff), four sons, John M Benton Jr., and wife Melissa Benton, Daniel Eric Benton and Wife Hannah Benton, Brandon Ellis Benton and Dylan Thomas Benton.  He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Adam Benton, Timothy Benton, Alexandra Benton, Caden Benton, McKinsey Benton and Faith Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wilma Jo Thompson, Henry Ellis Benton and Sham C. Coker (Papa)

John will receive Military Honors at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery.
