Obituary of Susan Marie Ward

SUSAN MARIE WARD

Sue Ward, affectionately known as “ Mama Sue”, 72, moved to her Heavenly home on July 19, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Gladys and Herbert Gibson and wife of Jim SR.

Known for her contagious smile, crazy hair colors and long nails, she was loved by all. Sue was a beautician for over 40 years, retiring due to declining health. She loved her Moose family. She started her Moose journey at Laurel Md and transferred to Cayce Chapter 1528. She achieved her College of Regents and was so proud. She continued her faithful service to Moose until the end.

Sue is survived by her husband of 53 yrs, Jim Ward, SR, her son Jim Jr, brother Billy Gibson and her sister Melba King, grandchildren, James Kelly and Nora of Va. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, Rebecca Gibson and her twins.

The family wishes to thank, Rhonda Austin for the love, care and opening your home for Sue for past 1 1/2 years.
