Obituary of Patricia Pritchard McCoy

Ms. Patricia, “Pat, ”Pritchard McCoy, 69, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020. She was born December 6, 1950, in Sumter, SC, daughter of the late Dewey Pritchard and Dorothy Timmons.

Pat attended the University of South Carolina. She was a retired nurse who loved spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, cooking, and gardening. She enjoyed time outdoors whether she was participating in sports or simply enjoying nature. Pat was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren in all their endeavors. Pat was known for her caring heart and love of Jesus Christ. 

Surviving are her children, Clay McCoy (Erin) of Yulee, FL, Angela McCoy of Rincon, GA, and Rachael McCoy Kern (Cody) of Surfside Beach, SC; six grandchildren, Natalie and Brooklyn Easterling, Preston Tudor, Wesley and Nora McCoy, and Faith Kern; two brothers, Dewey (Gail) Pritchard and George (Pat) Pritchard; four sisters, JoAnne Ridge (Gary), Rose Rennert, Mikki Baker (Dusty), and Shirley (Boone) Cockrell.

A private memorial service for Pat’s family will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boone Cockrell. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends
