Obituary of Linda Ann Whelan

Linda Ann Whelan, age 69, passed away on June 27th at her residence in Lexington, SC. She joins her dearly missed and devoted spouse, Ed Whelan, joyfully in everlasting life.

Born in Newark, NJ, on July 3rd, 1950, Linda was a true Jersey girl who lived most of her life in the Brick Township area. She graduated from Brick Township High School in 1968, and shortly thereafter met and married her soulmate Ed. While Ed worked to support their family, Linda was busy managing the household and raising their three children. After living in Brick for nearly 60 years, they decided that it was finally time for a change of scenery and moved to Lexington, SC in 2008. They spent the remainder of their retirement in South Carolina surrounded by family members who had also settled there from New Jersey.

Linda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, and grandmother to her family. She is survived by her beloved sister, Karen; daughters, Christina, Hollie, and Jillian; grandchildren, Casey, Caitlin, Kyle, Steven, Matthew, Gianna, Gabriella, and Anabelle; and great-grandson, Axel. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Honoring her wishes, no funeral services will be held.
