Obituary of Rosa Easterling Allen

Rosa Easterling Allen passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2023. Rosa was born July 11th, 1939 in Charleston, S.C. to Margaret C. and John E. Easterling. Rosa also lived in Rock Hill, S.C., Columbia, S.C., and Clermont, Florida.

In addition to a career in banking, Rosa enjoyed volunteering to support various community activities. She could always be counted on to be an enthusiastic spectator for her children and grand-children’s activities. In her later years, she enjoyed watching birds visit her backyard.

Rosa is survived by her husband, William H. Allen Jr., siblings Charlie Anderson (Peggy), Joan Green and Lucy Ashley (Jerry); children Beth Whitten (Stan), Roger Allen, and Walter Allen (Casey); grandchildren Jennifer Krantz (Eric), Mark Whitten, Lucas Allen, Logan Allen, Harper Allen, and Liam Allen; great-grandchildren Noah Krantz and Evelyn Krantz.

The Allen family would like to thank the many dedicated, compassionate caregivers for their support.
