Obituary of Margie Mae Redding

Margie Mae Redding, 55, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away October 21, 2022 at Agape Care Hospice Lexington, South Carolina. She was born on June 29, 1967 in Lexington, South Carolina to the late Thomas Tobar and Carrie (Addison) Truesdale.

Margie was a woman of God and loved her life to the fullest. She enjoyed watching old westerns and other classic shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved having her grandkids with her every chance that she had. Margie was strong willed and such a truly remarkable woman. No matter the obstacles that she faced during her life, she always managed to smile and share laughter with the ones that meant the most to her. She was and is loved and missed by so many. She wanted everyone to remember that it is not goodbye but see you later!

Margie is survived by her children Jesse Redding/his wife Kim Redding, Amber Harrison/ her fiance Brandon B, Stacy Redding and Sierra Redding. She left behind her husband James Redding and their two dogs Durl and Buddy. She also had grandchildren that miss her greatly Naomi the daughter of Sierra, Peyton and Nathan the children of Amber Harrison, and Allison, Megan, Rachel and Skylar the children of Jesse and Kim Redding, Margie survived by her siblings Barbara/Eric Mize, Tommy/Bonnie Carpenter, and Fred Carpenter. She also left behind her other mom Hazel Tobar and sister Crystal Hodge.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carrie L. Truesdale and her father Thomas Tobar.
