Obituary for Mark Leonard

Sam Leonard passed away on September 19, 2019 at his home in Pomaria, South Carolina.  He was born June 16, 1957 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to the late James X. Leonard and Martha Schwartzbeck Leonard.   Sam was a devoted husband, brother and friend to many whom he made a lasting impression on every person he met.  

Sam Leonard was a dedicated employee of the State of South Carolina for 30 years, and retired in 2017.  He is survived by his wife, Tina Alewine of Pomaria, SC., and siblings, Alison Stokes and Lisa (Don) Baker, both of Columbia, SC.  In addition, to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Ross J. Leonard and Leslie Leonard Sharpe.  

A celebration of life service is planned for 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at his residence.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Sam Leonard to The Seeing Eye, P.O. Box 375, Morristown, NJ 07963.  (973) 539-4425 or http://online.seeingeye.org.
