Obitury for Shirley Flood

Shirley Flood (née Boone) was born to Mable and Julian Boone in 1936.  She died peacefully at home on July 16, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Leroy, three daughters Karen, Nancy, and Chrissandra, sisters Nancy and Deborah, brother Joseph, nine grandchildren, and several adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

Shirley was known for her quiet mild spirit. Even toward the end of her life when she could not express herself, she would greet you with a smile. She loved God, her family, good music and good wine! She told all her family that her cup was well filled and was surrounded with love in her final days. Her God Jehovah will remember her and will soon call out of the grave!

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 3pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2640 Clemson Road Columbia, SC 29229
