Sheila was a 1979 graduate of Pemberton County High School, Pemberton, NJ and graduated with Summa Cum Laude Brunswick Community College (Wilmington, NC) with an Associates Degree in Medical Coding in 1998 and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She was employed by her friend Laura Rosenbaum-Bloom, MD, of Hilton Head, SC.

Sheila enjoyed crocheting, cats, New Orleans Saints football, casual drives in her stick-shift, and listening to music by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). She felt a strong connection to the ocean. Some of her favorite things were hummingbirds, hydrangeas and anything and everything yellow. She loved being "mom" and "mom-mom". She will be greatly missed. There will be a private celebration of life in October.
