Obituary of Tara Renee Wilson

Tara Wilson, 39, of Lexington, S.C., passed away on September 23, 2022 after bravely battling colon cancer for 3 years. Never once during her courageous battle did she utter the words, "why me" or "this is not fair." She accepted the challenge that God put before her and rose to the occasion. She was an example of strength, courage and dignity.

Tara was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and nurse. She enjoyed cruises, trips to Florida beaches, jet skis, Charleston, S.C. street markets, pineapple sculptures of all kind, purses from Micheal Kor, Kate Spade, Dooney & Burke, and Brahmin. She loved to wear leggings, sweatshirts and sneakers. Her dream car was a Jeep. Her favorite foods were Peach Perfections from Jamba Juice, various drinks from Starbucks and almost anything from Chick-fil-A . Her caring and compassionate nature and willingness to always put the needs of others before her own, made her a natural fit as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She loved children and enjoyed her time working as pediatric nurse. She had dreams of becoming a mid-wife.

Tara possessed a natural talent for arts and crafts. She utilized this talent to create holiday wreaths, gift baskets/bags for Teacher's Week, Nurse's Week, birthdays, baby showers and any other occasion that required a special touch.

Tara is survived by her husband, Rodney Alexander Wilson, son, Braylon David Wilson, father, Thomas Archie Moore lll, mother, Theresa  Ellen Moore and brothers, Timothy Joseph Moore and Thomas Archie Moore lV.
