Obituary of Virgil Johnson Werts, Jr.

Virgil "Johnny" Werts, age 73 went home to be with the Lord on Jan 19th 2019.

Johnny was born in Spartanburg SC March 12, 1945 to the late Ann Rollins and Virgil J. Werts, Sr.
He attended and was a graduate1964 of Beaufort High School In Beaufort, SC. 
Johnny was a member of the Western In-crowd Band while in Beaufort
With Olin & Barbara Brown. He was a Scholar, Artist, Poetry Writer, Singer. He played music by ear on the piano or electric keyboard, played drums in his Own Band. A brother of multi-talents well gifted and blessed. He worked for finance company in Beaufort, SC for many years.

He is survived by his beloved children John Kipling Werts, Windy Werts-Ivey, two grandchildren;
Ethan and Marabel and 5 siblings Michael, Raymond, Diane, Arlene, and Darlene.
Johnny also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews and about 14 great nieces and nephews.
He is preceeded in death by his brother Don Werts.
