Obituary of June Robichaud

Mrs. June Robichaud, 86, of Columbia, SC, died December 24, 2018. 
She was born June 15, 1932 in Braggadocio, Missouri to the late Ode and Ruby Scott.
She was raised with three brothers and five sisters on a cotton farm in the "Boot Heal" of that state near the banks of the Mississippi River. She graduated from Braggadocio High School in 1950, was recruited directly into the F.B.I. and moved to Washington, D.C. At the Bureau she was commended for her dedication, hard work, and intelligence. She was also a star player on their women's softball and basketball teams.

It was in Washington, D.C. she met Paul Robichaud, formerly of Cambridge,  MA and whom she married September 14,1957 after moving to California. She had three sons David, Mark, and Michael. She and the family lived primarily in California and Europe and relocated with her husband after his retirement  to Columbia to live with David and his family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and son Mark and is survived by her son David Robichaud, his wife Alma and their  two daughters, Angelica and Andrea, all of Columbia; and her son Michael Robichaud of Baltimore, MD.

She leaves two brothers, Leon Scott of Jupiter, FL. and Joe Lon Scott and his wife Sandra of Russellville, AL.; two sisters, Zola Scott of Blytheville, AR., and Julia Robinson of Glen Avon, CA; a sister-in-law, Freda Scott of Braggadocio, MO and many beloved nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome.
