Obituary of Joslyn R Tucker

Joslyn R. Tucker, 66, of Gaston, S.C., died June 17, 2022, after an extended illness. She was born the daughter of the late Jesse and Christine (Ware) Fields, on August 4, 1955. Joslyn was employed with the City of Cleveland in Social Work for many years before moving to South Carolina to be with her family. Joslyn attended Zion Chapel Baptist Church of Reeder Point, Columbia,SC, where she was baptized and faith renewed. She will be remembered for her outpouring of love she had for her family and friends.

Joslyn is survived by a son, Robert J Tucker of Lexington, SC, daughter, Alyce Tucker-Wallington, of Union, SC, three precious grandchildren; Jamal, Jaylon, and Alexis Wallington, all of Union, SC.  She is also survived by three sisters; Lesa (Ralph) Robinette, Enid Fields, and Adrienne Fields and a brother Chrys Fields all of Springfield Ohio, Joslyn also leaves behind three sisters in law; Ethel (Leon) Byrd, Judy Tucker, of  Carlisle, SC and Marilyn Tucker of Chester, SC, Jeanni Fields of Idaho and three brothers in law; James (Dorothy) Tucker, of Carilsle, Albert Tucker and John Henry (Pauline) Tucker of Union, SC and Pettis Tucker also of Carlisle SC and a special friend, Marion Myers of Gaston, SC. 

Joslyn was predeceased by her husband; Robert E Tucker, and a brother Jesse Fields Jr..

 

Arrangements:

Final Resting in Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum, Springfield, Ohio

Celebration of Life Services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 5pm at the home of her sister in law Judy Tucker, 583 Labaw rd, Carlisle, Sc, 29031.
