Obituary of Gary M Elkin

Gary M Elkin AKA Taz, 66, of Gaston, South Carolina,  passed away May10, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on February 15, 1956  in Los Angeles, California  to the late Patty (Ellis) Elkin .

Gary  is survived by his children Cindy Martinez, Nikole Quinealty (husband Daniel Quinealty), Michale Elkin (wife Brittany Elkin), Erin Elkin, and Cornelius Ferguson. 5 grandchildren; Nicolette, Austin, David, Sydney, and Kash. His brothers Robert and Johnny Elkin and sister Valerie Pappas. Along with all of his "children" he loved as his own through the years.
He was avid sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys,  Duke Blue Devils and the LA Lakers. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and an animal lover.

He was preceded in death by his mother Patty Elkin and daughter Cariya Ferguson.

The family will receive friends at Michale and Brittany's home on Saturday May 14 from 1pm - 4pm. Please contact the family for more information.  Funeral services to be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd Columbia, SC 29229 at a later date. Military honor to be rendered. In lieu of flowers or other memorials the family ask for donations to end of life expenses.  Please contact family to donate.
