Obituary of Laura Lynn Jefferson

Laura Lynn Jefferson, 55, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed on May 03, 2022, after fighting Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer. Laura was born on November 05, 1966, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the daughter of Roy Owen Perry and Sandy Perry Harwell.

Laura was a mortgage underwriter for First Citizens Bank. In her spare time, she enjoyed being in her yard, at the beach, shopping, or spending time with her children and grand-children. She sure loved being a Mimi. She was a kind soul, who loved everyone fiercely and deeply. She loved helping others, and was someone that you could always count on. Laura was a fighter, very beautiful, strong-willed, and fierce. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her children, Jenna Gaskins and her husband, Rusty, Jaden Jefferson, John Jefferson III; five grandchildren, Athena, Harper, Easton, Alaina-Lynn, and Sage; siblings, Audra Cruz and her husband, Raul, Michael Perry and his wife Jay, Phillip Reynolds and his wife Becky; and a few nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be planned and announced at a further date.
