Obituary of John DeLoatch, Sr.

John F. DeLoatch, Sr. Lexington, SC

John Fleetwood DeLoatch, Sr., 87, passed away on November 9, 2018. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on November 13, 2018 at Kittiwake Baptist Church, Lexington, SC. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. following the visitation.

John was born on October 19, 1931 in Seaboard, NC and was the son of the late Wiley Lloyd DeLoatch and the late Essie Mae DeLoatch of Seaboard, NC.

He is survived by his three sons, John F. DeLoatch, Jr. (Gail) of Lexington, SC, Keith DeLoatch (Terresa) of Byron, GA, and Michael DeLoatch (Diana) of Lexington, SC; daughter-in-law, Linda DeLoatch of Pensacola, FL; his brother, Frank; 3 grandchildren, Jeremiah DeLoatch, Jacob DeLoatch, and Brandi DeLoatch. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Faye Harris DeLoatch; 2 brothers, Vinson DeLoatch and David DeLoatch.

John was a member of Kittiwake Baptist Church.
