Obituary of Jodi Sue Sasko

Jodi Sue Sasko of Lexington, SC entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2023. Jodi was born on October 22, 1959 in Uniontown, PA. She is the daughter of the late John William Luckey and Glenda Harlene Luckey.

Jodi lived her life fully devoted to her four children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with those children. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, hosting, and helping others. Jodi was truly in her element in the kitchen, when you were invited to Jodi’s house for dinner you knew you were in for a treat. She was an excellent cook and knew how to make people feel welcome.  Jodi will be remembered for her warm and loving personality. She loved her family immeasurably, and that love extended to all of their friends. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Jodi, fell in love with her bold and inviting personality.

She is survived by her mother, Glenda Luckey; her brothers and sisters, Jay (Cindy) Luckey, Marla (Joe) Siebart, Emma Miller, and George Decker; her children; Mandy Cheatham, Jessie (Brandon) Coates, Michael (Kelly) Sasko; three grandsons and a granddaughter: Tanner, Walker, Ridgely, and Rynn; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, John Luckey, her sister, Lori Decker, and her beloved daughter, Becky Sasko.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Fleet Mortgage room, in the River Center at Saluda Shoals Park, 5605 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212. Upon arriving at the gate, please state you are coming to the River Center.
