Obituary of David Andrew Russell

David Andrew Russell, 67, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away April 13, 2023. He was born in Tucson, Arizona on December 7, 1955 to the late Fred J. Russell and Lorraine Wilhoit-Russell of Columbia, SC.

David worked as a machinist at Rockwell International, FN America, Beretta USA Corp., and American Tool & Die, Inc. In more recent years, he worked at Sperry Rail Service and Palmetto Shelving Systems.

David is survived by his sister, Retta Russell-Yandle (married to Stephen) of Little Mountain, SC; brothers: John Russell (Sid) and Glenn Russell of Elgin, SC; his sons: Andrew Russell and Jason Russell (married to Cynthia) and two grandsons. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Rebecca Russell-Wafler (married to Robert) of Chapin, SC and brother, Fred S. Russell of Pelion, SC.

David loved to cook, the great outdoors, target shooting and family gatherings. He will be missed greatly.

A memorial will be placed at Lexington Memorial Cemetery for friends and family to visit.
